Nathan J. Blum, M.D. is Chief of the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the W.T. Grant Professor of Pediatrics, Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Blum is the Principal Investigator for the MCHB/HRSA funded 16-site Developmental-Behavioral
Pediatrics Research Network (DBPNet) and also directs interdisciplinary Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Training Program at CHOP. He conducts research on care for children with autism,
attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and other developmental and behavioral conditions in both primary care and subspecialty settings. Dr. Blum has served as President of the Society for Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics and as Chairperson of the Section on Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics of the American Academy of Pediatrics. For over 20 years he served as the Medical Editor for the Sub-board of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics for the American Board of Pediatrics. He is an Editor for the recently published 5th Edition of the textbook, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics.
